New Sound Library - Good Smoke
The sound design team at Bangin-Beats is proud to announce our newest library of one shot drum samples & sound effects entitled "The Good Smoke Series". The library consists of 10 all-original construction kits in the vein of hardcore Hip Hop, R&B, and modern pop music.
After a hiatus of over 5 years, chief sound designer Kirk T invested much of his time capturing and editing high quality sound effects for film & stock library companies. Melding the Hip Hop drum design and SFX capturing together has resulted in a new flavor of library from Bangin-Beats.
From whooshes, to sexy stuff, live audiences and groups to unique percussion... Peppered around a library of original break-neck drum samples, the mainstay that garnered placed Bangin-Beats a place on releases by some of the top artists in the recording industry.
Producers are often looking for a way to achieve the fat, round sound of gear like ribbon microphones and tube amps, without spending thousands. In the creation of Good Smoke, we employed some of our favorite vintage and cutting edge tools. Like running snares through an H.H. Scott Model 210-D vacuum Tube Amp, or re-sampling kick drums via an original 1966 Ampeg B-15N Portaflex Bass Amp. A flexible mic cabinet and portable recording rig with top-end preamps bring it all home. The result is robust, fat drums, and pristine sound effects.
