Credits range from multi-platinum Def Jam recording artist Fabolous, to soundscape for MTV networks, to sound design appearing on countless major releases from Eminem to 50 Cent to Metallica, with producer Bob Rock being a personal sound design client.
Tools
We thrive in a hybrid analog/digital environment. From Pro Tools in the box, to outboard dynamics processing from Manley, Drawmer, SPL, Empirical Labs & more rounding out our sound. Production gear includes Akai MPC4000, MPC2000, MPC60II, Emu SP1200, Clavia Nord Lead, Korg Trinity, Roland Fantom X6, and of course a plethora of virtual instruments. Our mic cabinet consists of solid vintage performers like the RCA 44BX ribbon and the EV Model 77 carbon, to workhorses like the AKG C414 TLII & XLS and many many in between for a flexible and diverse palette.
Why?
Being die hard Halloween enthusiasts, we decided to let the 2 worlds collide in 2006 with the release of "It's Under The Stairs". The CD garnered great feedback from local commercial Haunts and end user "yard-Haunters" alike. Most importantly, it spawned a new love for creating dark ambient scenes and scores.
Our music and sound design are sheer labors of love. We hope you dig our work as much as we dig doing it!
