It all started here, over 14 years ago when the original East Coast Soundworks was established in 1996.
Originally offering soundware for Akai, Ensoniq and Roland instruments, in just a short time, East Coast Soundworks quickly became known by some of the top studios & producers around New York.
In 1999 we launched as Bangin-Beats.com, offering an expanded library and expanded formats, but keeping over 95% of our catalog laced with the one shot drums we're famous for.
Pioneers of 3rd party commercial sound design specific to the Hip Hop & R&B genre, we created the business model that most online sound companies follow. While knock offs peddle weak sound design with flashy web design, we continue to shape the face of modern Hip Hop with the most experienced ears in the game.
True to our roots, urban music has been our sole focus from day one. From basement beat makers to our many Gold & Platinum plaque clients, we bless more true Hip Hop producers than any other sound company hands down, (Probably more than all combined). Love it or hate it... Our drums rock in everything from basement labs to ipod commercials and hit record after hit record.
